Refund policy Gold Coast Boat and Jet Ski Licensing (2024)
Online theory option
Gold Coast Boat and Jet Ski Licensing will not offer a refund to a student who has enrolled in the online theory component of the course and then changed their mind or are unable to complete the course.
In the event a student has booked for a practical training and assessment session but is unable to attend, providing at least 24 hours’ notice is provided, Gold Coast Boat and Jet Ski Licensing will re-book the course for another time at no additional cost to the student.
If a student does not attend on the day or provide at least 24 hours’ notice of a scheduled booking, then a $100 cancellation fee per licence will incur on rebooking of another assessment date.
Gold Coast Boat and Jet Ski Licensing will not refund course costs if a student fails to meet the Boatsafe competency and assessment standards.
If a practical training and assessment course is cancelled by Gold Coast Boat and Jet Ski Licensing for any reason, Gold Coast Boat and Jet Ski Licensing will offer to re-book the course for another time or offer a refund for the practical assessment fees paid by student.
Enrolment in the online course is valid for 12 months and can be completed as many times as required throughout the 12 month period.
Gift Vouchers are representative of the cash value of the voucher at the time of purchase, if prices increase you may be required to pay the difference. No refund will be offered in the case of a price discount or specials. Gift vouchers will not be refunded for cash.
Face to face course option
In the event that a face to face course has been pre-paid and the student does not attend on the day, a refund will not be available. If though, 24 hours’ notice is given, a booking is transferable to another date (max 3 transfers) at no further cost.
If a student has started the course but is unable to finish on the day, they will be offered a place at the next available course of their choice.
If a face to face course is cancelled by Gold Coast Boat and Jet Ski Licensing for any reason, Gold Coast Boat and Jet Ski Licensing will offer to re-book the course for another time or offer a full refund for any fees paid by the student.
Gold Coast Boat and Jet Ski Licensing will not refund course costs if a student fails to meet the Boatsafe competency and assessment standards.
